Who doesn't have sleep or waking issues? Life and circumstances change, and with it our sleep.

I am Coach Michelle and I have battled with various sleep problems for over 4 decades since childhood. From bruxism, teeth grinding, at night, bedwetting and nightmares. Living my waking hours with sub optimal performance, sluggish and unfocused, turning to coffee or comfort eating leading to random anger in the day. Late sleep onset, just laying in bed overthinking, having only a few hours sleep a night, often broken from either night terrors or major anxiety. Over the past decade especially, I have suffered from a range of life-limiting symptoms from insomnia, restless limbs, waking from heart palpitations or my own snoring, broken & poor quality sleep from wanting to compulsively over eat before bed or getting up in the night to eat.

I now sleep within minutes of getting it to bed and peacefully a solid 8 hours per night not needing naps in the day or after meals anymore & help others find rest, balance & energy.

Sleep & Society

New neuroscience is uncovering many aspects to health that even a decade ago would be laughed at.

The same medics who hand out medicine but are not trained in 'chronopharmacology', the optimal timing of medication on the body, just as disease symptoms vary across the day.

 

The US term ‘residency’ where medical students literally live, reside at hospitals during training, spending up to 18 hours per day, working day and night shifts highlights this very issue, where a medic graduates awareness of health, wellness & chronic illness lacks any real scientific awareness.
